The AISBF Browser Companion is a lightweight Chrome/Chromium extension that sends prompts to your hosted or self-hosted AISBF gateway. Configure providers once in AISBF, then use one browser popup for autoselect, rotations, failover, and direct provider routes.

Your provider keys live in AISBF. The extension only needs your AISBF endpoint and AISBF user token.

Install in Chrome or Chromium

Download aisbf-browser-companion.zip.
Extract the ZIP somewhere permanent.
Open chrome://extensions/.
Enable Developer mode.
Click Load unpacked.
Select the extracted extension folder.
Open the extension popup and enter your AISBF endpoint, AISBF API key, and route name.

Exact route names depend on what you configured in the AISBF dashboard.

Security model

The extension stores the AISBF endpoint and AISBF user token in Chrome sync storage.
Provider API keys should stay inside AISBF, not inside the extension.
Use HTTPS for hosted AISBF or any public self-hosted endpoint.
For team use, create a scoped AISBF user token rather than sharing admin credentials.
